ISO45001:2018 Lead Auditor Exemplar Global Certified (TPECS)

This 4-day Training Course is designed to prepare the learner with the skills necessary to lead a successful audit of the organizations ISO45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System. This is accomplished by preparing Lead Auditors with several industry examples related to an Occupational Health and Safety Management System that includes hazard controls, compliance obligations, emergency preparedness & response, and leading an audit team in all phases of an audit that includes plan, prepare, conduct, and report. 

Three competency exams are included, which are Exemplar Global (TPECS) Certified

Competency Units:

  • Occupational Health and Safety Management System Understanding (OHS)

  • Certified Internal Auditor – Management Systems Auditing (AU)

  • Certified Lead Auditor – Leading Management Systems Audit Teams (TL)

Learning Objectives:

  • Describe the ISO45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) Requirements standard and their integration to the organizations business processes.

  • Describe ISO45001:2018 OHSMS terms and definitions.

  • Describe the intent of the requirements and determine the evidence needed to demonstrate conformity to ISO45001:2018 and to the performance of the process.

  • Apply the process approach and Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) methodology.

  • Evaluate documented information required by ISO45001:2018 and the interrelationships between the business processes, quality planning, policy, and objectives.

  • Apply the principles, processes, and methods of process approach auditing.

  • Demonstrate the activities involved in planning, preparing, conducting, and reporting for an audit.

  • Determine and apply risk-based thinking to the audit in the context of the auditee’s organizational situation.

  • Apply effective audit skills and practice personal behaviors necessary for an effective and efficient audit of an Occupational Health and safety Management System. 

  • Prepare the audit report and perform an audit follow-up.
